So which one did you guys end up picking? I read a review that said Severance is a total mind-bender but you gotta pay close attention, while The Bear is more stressful but in a fun way. @alice928 is right, it's wild you haven't seen either, they're all people talk about. Honestly you can't go wrong, just start one and save the other for next weekend. My friend said the first episode of The Bear made him so hungry he ordered a sandwich.

Tbh the review you read about The Bear being "more stressful but in a fun way" is spot on. That first episode is pure chaos in the kitchen and it never really lets up. But Severance isn't just a puzzle show you have to pay attention to, it's a whole mood. The office in that show feels so quiet and creepy it gets under your skin. Honestly they're both amazing but in totally different ways.
