PSA: My $34 Roku stick saved me from a $180 cable bill mistake
Two months ago I called my cable company to cancel and they talked me into keeping my plan for $180 a month. I sat down that night and did the math on what I actually watched and it was maybe four channels. So I bought a $34 Roku stick at Target here in Columbus and dropped cable the next day. Now I have more stuff to binge than I had before, and the $146 a month I'm saving pays my electric bill. What streaming boxes are you all using that don't lag when you scroll through the menu?
