Rant: My brother said I watch shows wrong because I skip every recap, now I time them with a stopwatch

Skip the recaps every time, they're just repeats of stuff you already saw. Next time he bugs you about it, tell him the stopwatch is so you can prove how much time you're saving and offer to time his recaps too. If he keeps pushing, just start a running tally of hours you've saved and hit him with the number at dinner, lol. Brothers like that only stop when you make the bit more annoying for them than it is for you.
