That 14 episode season turned into 3 seasons of filler real quick

Started watching this crime show from Norway last Tuesday, it had a tight 14 episode arc that hooked me hard. But by episode 22 the whole thing turned into relationship drama and side quests, totally lost the plot. I swear Netflix stretched it out just to milk the algorithm, anyone else drop a show mid-season when the pacing tanks like that?
