That one comment that made me stop skipping the intro
I used to always skip the opening credits on every show, thought it saved time. Then my sister said I missed a bunch of hidden clues in the Westworld intro that changed the whole season. Now I watch every intro at least once, especially for mystery shows. Anyone else pick up on little details in the credits?

Wait, did you catch how in Succession the home video changes get more tense as the season goes on? That shift in the music in The Leftovers is a great point too, I bet the composer hides specific character themes in there that most people miss.

Westworld was the first show that made me actually rewatch intros too... that maze imagery in the background changes subtly each episode. It's wild how much worldbuilding they cram into 90 seconds of credits, like the piano player going from human to robotic. Even shows like Succession have small clues in the home video footage that hint at family dynamics before the plot catches up.

Funny you say that, cause I used to skip intros completely. Thought they were just filler before the real show. But you're totally right about the Westworld one changing little things each time. Now I actually pay closer attention, especially to shows like The Leftovers where the music shifts to fit the season's mood. Makes me wonder how many other details I've missed just by hitting that skip button.
