Warning: I turned on subtitles for a show I'd already seen twice and caught 3 plot holes I missed
I rewatched a whole season of a mystery drama with captions on because my girlfriend is hard of hearing, and I noticed a character said a name in episode 2 that doesn't come up again until episode 7. Now I can't watch anything without them on. Anyone else ruin a favorite show by reading every word?

What got you hooked on captions in the first place? I started because my roommate always had them on and now I catch stuff I never heard before. Do you ever go back and rewatch a show just to see what else you missed?
