Watched the first season of 'Severance' in one weekend and now I'm split on the ending

My wife and I binged the whole thing from Friday night to Sunday in our living room. The last episode left me feeling tense and excited, but she thought it was a cheap cliffhanger that didn't resolve enough. I think the mystery is the whole point, while she says a show needs to give some answers to be satisfying. Has anyone else finished it and felt strongly one way or the other?

My husband and I had the exact same fight over the season one finale of "The Good Place." He was mad they reset the whole system, calling it a lazy reset button. I argued the twist made the entire season mean something totally new. We rewatched the first episode together right after, and seeing all the hidden clues changed his mind. Sometimes you need to sit with a bold ending before it clicks.

Honestly, is a TV show ending worth a real fight? Tbh it's just entertainment at the end of the day. Ngl I'd just agree to disagree and move on.

Rewatching with the new context is basically a whole new show for free.

Honestly that's just how life works sometimes. You sit through a whole thing waiting for a payoff and then you get something totally different from what you expected. But that tension between wanting answers and enjoying the ride? That's basically every relationship and job and big decision I've ever made.
