Hot take: those 'viral' reaction videos are 90% faked and you're all being played

Spent a whole Sunday watching the top 20 trending reaction vids on YouTube and found at least 15 had obvious jump cuts or mismatched audio, like someone spliced two different takes together. Has anyone else noticed how they always 'react' with the same canned surprise face no matter what the content is?

man i watched that one famous reactor dude with 5 million subs. the audio was totally off for his whole 15 minute video. his mouth was saying one thing but the words didn't match. same shocked Pikachu face every single video too. it's honestly depressing how much effort goes into faking this stuff. makes me feel bad for the people who think it's real.

Sympathize with you there, man. It's wild how many people must be out there watching these videos and have no clue the reactions are half staged or just straight up fake. Makes you wonder what else in the online world is just a performance, you know?

Yeah, right? What gets me is nobody talks about how these reaction channels are basically a tax loophole. They slap someone else's content on screen, do a 5 second face, then claim "transformative use" to avoid copyright strikes. It's less about authenticity and more about gaming the system for ad money. The whole business model is built on taking other people's work and adding the bare minimum. How long before these guys have to actually create something original?
