I finally called out a green screen mistake live on air, oops
My local news in Tulsa had a weather guy standing in front of a map that clearly showed snow in July, and I texted the station about it during the broadcast. Turns out that was actually a glitch in their new graphics system, and the producer called me back to thank me for catching it. But then I told my coworker about it and she said I was being a nitpicker, so now I'm second guessing if I should've even bothered. Has anyone else reported a blooper to a news station and gotten a weird response back?

Did they thank you for real, or was that just the polite thing to do? I've called in twice about weird graphics, one time they sent me a coffee mug, so I'd say you did the right thing.
