I finally watched the wrong clip on a news livestream and spotted 2 anchors in the same shot
Last Tuesday I had the 6pm local news on in the background while doing invoices, and my head snapped up when the screen cut to the weather guy talking to a shot of himself. The anchor desk was still live in the corner box, so you had two of the same guy on screen for about 8 seconds. Then a producer's voice slipped through, saying 'hold on, hold on, keep rolling,' and the second feed stayed up even longer. I used to flip right past stuff like this, now I catch myself rewinding just to count how many times they forget to reset the switcher. Did anyone else catch a longer slip on a local station lately?
