My buddy swore I needed to pre-drill cabinet hinge screws and I laughed at him until I split three doors in a row
Took me wrecking a $80 set of oak cabinet doors on a kitchen reno in Denver last spring before I finally texted him to admit he was right, has anyone else had to eat crow that hard after ignoring dead simple advice?

Oh man, I feel your pain! I've definitely had to eat crow on more than a few DIY lessons the hard way.

My friend Jen tried to patch a hole in her drywall last weekend. She watched this one video three times and thought she had it down. Ended up using way too much spackle and it looked like a giant muffin top sticking out of her wall. She had to sand the whole thing down and start over, said it took her twice as long as just calling a handyman would have.
