PSA: Double-check the green screen before going live

I was watching a local news segment last Tuesday where the weather anchor pointed to a map of Texas that was actually just a reflection of the studio lights. Turned out the green screen had a wrinkle in the lower left corner, and the whole state looked like it was melting into a puddle. I caught it because I saw the reflection bounce off a coffee cup on the desk. Has anyone else noticed these broadcast errors getting worse lately?

Last Tuesday I saw the exact same clip you're talking about channel 6 right? I gotta respectfully disagree though I think those kinds of flubs are part of the charm. Weather people are just people like us and a little wrinkle makes it feel more real than all that slick polished perfection.

Build off that idea actually @the_sean - those little green screen wrinkles and reflections make the weather segments way more entertaining than the perfectly produced ones. Its like a little hidden game to spot the mistakes before the producers do.
