That news blooper from last week where the cat walked across the green screen still cracks me up

I used to just skip through news bloopers on YouTube without paying much attention, but after I saw that one from KCRA 3 where the weather guy's cat just casually strolled behind him and knocked over a plant, I started going back and watching the whole compilation. It happened around 5 days ago and now I'm hooked on finding the best ones to send to my friend group chat. Does anyone else have a favorite blooper from a local news station that they keep revisiting?

The one that gets me every time is from back in 2019 with that WISH-TV anchor in Indianapolis. Her toddler just wandered in during a live segment and started playing with her hair and she kept a straight face for like 10 seconds before cracking up. I have sent that clip to my group chat maybe four times now and I still laugh like an idiot each time. It's honestly a miracle I've never done something similar on a Zoom call considering my cats have zero respect for my work from home setup. My personal highlight reel is basically just me apologizing to my coworkers while a cat walks across my keyboard.

That phrase "kept a straight face for like 10 seconds before cracking up" is basically the story of my entire adult life. I had a moment a few years back at a grocery store where I was bagging my own stuff and this kid, maybe 4 years old, just stared at me while I dropped a jar of pasta sauce. It shattered everywhere and I just stood there frozen for what felt like a full minute before I started laughing like an idiot. The mom was apologizing and I was like no, this is just my life now. I think about that clip you mentioned a lot because it reminds me that even professionals can't keep it together when something unexpected happens, which is oddly comforting.

Wait, hold up. Four times? You sent that clip to your group chat four separate times? That's either a sign of a truly legendary clip or your friends are way more patient than mine (mine would have blocked me after the second time, haha). But honestly, same energy here - I still pull up that video of a weatherman's kid photobombing him from like 2017 and it gets me every single time. It's that moment of them trying to be a professional while their entire world is falling apart around them (you know, in a cute way) that just kills me.
