The news anchor who said 'get me a shovel' instead of 'get me a doctor'

Caught a clip from a local Seattle station last month where the anchor mixed up her words live on air. She was reporting on a construction accident and told the crew to grab a shovel instead of calling for medical help. Has anyone else seen reporters completely butcher a serious segment like that?

Whoa, I gotta push back a bit here. That happens to everyone when you're live on air and your brain freezes. She mixed up "shovel" and "doctor" - two totally different words in a stressful moment. The station probably figured the best move was to just keep rolling and not make a big deal about a simple slip. Making a big apology on air would just draw more attention to an honest mistake. It was awkward and maybe a little funny, but it's not like she meant to be disrespectful to anyone hurt. Sometimes the best way to handle a flub is to move on and let people laugh it off.

Did the station actually apologize on air for that shovel comment or just move on like nothing happened?
