Found a trick to stop losing pawns from my Pandemic set
I kept losing the little disease pawns between game nights. My buddy suggested I glue a tiny magnet to the bottom of each one and store them on a metal baking sheet from the dollar store. Took me 20 minutes with a hot glue gun and some 1/8 inch magnets from a craft store. Has anyone else found a cheap fix for keeping tiny board game bits organized?

The magnet trick honestly sounds genius. I used to just throw all my Pandemic pawns into a Ziploc bag and pray they didn't get scattered, but last month I had four blue cubes end up under my couch cushion. I might actually try this with my Catan pieces because I keep losing the little roads. A dollar store baking sheet and some glue is way cheaper than buying one of those expensive bit boxes.

Oh wow, that's such a good point about the baking sheet being way cheaper than those fancy organizers. Maybe it's just me but I feel like the magnets would work even better if you glued them to the bottom of the pieces instead of the container, keeps things from sliding around when you bump the table. That way you could even store the whole board vertically if you wanted, which would be a lifesaver for my cramped apartment.

The magnets on the pieces thing would work but you'd want to make sure they're strong enough. I tried that with a different game and the pieces still slid around because the magnets were too weak. Neodymium ones from a craft store are like five bucks and actually hold things in place.
