Hit 50 plays on a single board game and it changed my mind about replayability

I always thought heavy strategy games would get boring after a few rounds, but I logged my 50th play of Brass Birmingham last night and I'm still finding new combos. The way the market shifts depending on player order is what keeps it fresh. Has anyone else had a game surprise them by not getting stale?

60 plays in, are you still finding that the opening strategies hold up, or have you had to start forcing different paths to keep it interesting?

OMG yes, same here! I hit 60 plays of Spirit Island last month and I still find myself trying out new strategies I never considered before. The way the invaders scale and the spirits interact keeps every game feeling like a puzzle. I honestly thought I'd get bored after 20 plays but it's only gotten deeper. It's wild how these games reveal new layers the more you play them.

Forced different paths? More like, the game forces ME. I tried the same opening three times in a row and the invaders just laughed at me. Had to switch to a whole different spirit to even survive one turn. It's like the game is personally offended by my strategies. The puzzle gets tougher every time, I swear.
