My buddy said my rulebook teach was 45 minutes of me reading out loud, so now I hand out cheat sheets instead
He said it after a 5 player game of Terraforming Mars where nobody knew what to do for the first 30 minutes. Now I print a one page player aid for every seat and do a 5 minute rules rundown, then we just start and I answer stuff as it comes up. Anyone else got a teach system that keeps people from zoning out?
