Showerthought: I shuffled decks one way for 3 years, then a stranger at a game night in Denver flipped my habit
Honestly for 3 years I did the pile shuffle every single game night because some guy at my first meetup in Denver said mash shuffling wrecks cards. Then 6 months ago a stranger at the same shop did a quick mash shuffle on my copy of Wingspan and pointed out my pile shuffle takes 4 minutes and still leaves clumps. Now I do 7 mash shuffles with a cut and sleeves, and games start way faster. Tbh I still get nervous about bending corners, so I want to hear both sides. Which one are you, pile shuffler or mash shuffler, and did anyone actually ruin a card doing it?
