That weekend where every single game night fell apart

I planned four different game nights last Saturday and all of them got canceled within 2 hours of each other. Three separate groups backed out because of 'something came up' and the fourth ghosted me completely after I had already set up Betrayal at House on the Hill. Has anyone else had a perfect storm of cancellations like that?

Oh, they were flaky from the start, no question. My own group's leader once canceled a hike because she said the "energy of the trail felt off," and that was before we even left the parking lot. I should have known better, but I kept showing up like the loyal, slightly desperate person I am. Now I just assume any group activity will fall apart by the third meeting, and I plan my snacks accordingly.
