Went to a game cafe in Portland and saw a guy arguing with Catan pieces for 20 minutes

I was at this spot called Mox Boarding House last Saturday, and this dude kept rearranging his settlements and yelling at the robber like it could hear him. The staff just watched him from the counter. Has anyone else seen someone take a board game that personally?

Oh man, my buddy told me he once saw a guy at a board game night flip the entire Catan board after losing because someone "stole his wood" lmao. The host made him sit in the corner for ten minutes.

Wait, your brother actually thought the cat would learn the rules? That's wild. My cousin tried that with a Monopoly board and the cat just sat on the money. Had to dig the $500 bills out from under its butt. The guy with the Catan pieces sounds like he was having a full meltdown. Reminds me of this time at a convention where a grown man started crying over losing a round of Ticket to Ride. Board games bring out some weird stuff in people.
