Dropped $180 on a magnetic drill press level for boiler tube sheets and it was trash on the first job
Bought that magnetic level off a tool truck in Gary, Indiana because the guy swore it would make tube sheet layout faster. Used it on a 60 inch waterwall panel and the bubble was off by almost a quarter inch compared to my old starrett, so every hole I punched was walking on me. Cost me a full shift reaming and redrilling before I caught it. Anybody got a level they actually trust on curved tube sheets, or am I better off just using a plumb bob like the old guys keep telling me?
