Am I the only one who thinks the library copy beats the ebook for book club fights?
Our club read the same novel two ways last month: half of us had the library paperback and half had it on a Kindle, and the paper folks could flip back to a page in about 5 seconds to settle an argument while the ebook folks were still swiping. We spent a solid 10 minutes one night on a scene everyone swore was in chapter 4, and the guy with the paperback found it on page 87 in under a minute. You also can't scribble a margin note in a library book, sure, but sticky notes work fine and they don't vanish when the loan expires. My branch here in Dayton lets you renew twice online, so the 3 week window stretched to 9 weeks for free. Has anyone found a highlight or bookmark feature that actually makes the ebook version faster for settling these fights?
