In 2019 my library hold came through for a book I'd forgotten about, and I read it 3 days before the meeting with no notes, changed how I do the whole thing

I grabbed it off the shelf at the Westside branch on a Tuesday, meeting was that Friday. I skimmed it in two nights and showed up with nothing written down. Worst part was I couldn't remember who said what, so when Dana asked why the brother lied about the money I just sat there. Now I read the book 2 weeks out and jot page numbers on an index card in the back cover. That's it. Anyone else get burned by a late hold showing up right before the meeting?
