Okay, I was wrong about our book club picking 'The Overstory' over a mystery novel

Felt the same way when we started it. Thought it would be a boring book about trees. Kept reading and realized it's actually about people, just people who happen to care about trees a lot. The way all the stories connect in the end got me. Changed how I look at the stuff growing in my own backyard.
