Sat in on a book club at the Tacoma library last Tuesday, and half the room argued about a jacket blurb for 20 minutes
I went to the 6pm session at the Tacoma main branch just to see how other groups run things, and someone pulled out the paperback of their pick and read the back cover line by line. Turned out 4 of the 9 people had read totally different editions, so they were fighting over a character detail that only showed up in the newer printing. Does your group have any rule about everyone reading the same edition, or do you just roll with it?
