Just realized cinder blocks speed up book pressing
Got a last-minute order for a wedding guestbook. Pressing usually eats up a whole day. Tried using cinder blocks from my garage. They add steady weight. Saved hours on the deadline.

Is the pressing time really that big of a deal for a guest book? They usually just sit on a table, it's not like you need it bound in five minutes. Seems like a clever fix though for a last minute panic.
