Rant: Folks keep saying you can't bind books without a team, but I've done my best work alone in my shed.

They probably taught team binding for bigger projects or to share skills. Solo work is great, but having help can speed things up sometimes.

My last solo bind, inspired by @piper_robinson, was done in 3 hours flat with zero errors.

Back in library school, they told us book binding needed a full team. I believed that for years and always worked with others. Your post about working alone in your shed really made me rethink things. I tried a solo bind last month, and the focus was so much better. I caught small flaws I usually miss when people are talking. Now I see that doing it alone can lead to better work for some people.

Wait they really taught you that in library school? @piper_robinson that's wild, I always figured some tasks just work better alone.
