A customer at my school book fair asked me if the librarian was a bot, and it made me start checking how people type
She said the email replies came back in 4 seconds flat with no typos at 11pm on a Sunday, which got me looking at my own message history and realizing I do the exact same thing, so now I'm wondering how many of us would fail our own bot tests.
4 seconds flat with no typos at 11pm on a Sunday" is honestly the whole tell right there. Nobody types like that at 11pm, that's when the typos come out and the backspace key earns its paycheck. Meanwhile I send emails at 2am with three spelling mistakes and a sentence that just stops in the middle like I got jumped. What really gets me is autocorrect fixing everything so now even my dumbest texts come out looking professional and suspicious. Soon we'll all be failing bot tests just for having decent grammar.
