Am I the only one who thinks that viral 'AI girlfriend' comment thread was actually just one guy with 12 alts?
I spent 3 hours last Saturday scrolling a 400 comment thread on a video where everyone was saying the same weird phrases like 'you are seen' and 'I hold space for you', and when I sorted by new every single one showed up within a 9 minute window on a Tuesday. Curious if anyone else has tried the timestamp trick, or am I just seeing patterns that aren't there?
The timestamp trick is real and more people should use it. Sorting by new on a thread like that basically shows you who was typing at the same time, and a 9 minute window for 400 comments is not normal. Real threads trickle in over hours or days, they don't all show up in one little burst on a random Tuesday. I've seen this on a few posts too, same phrases recycled over and over like a script, and once you notice the pattern you can't unsee it. So no, you're not crazy, you just actually looked at the data instead of reading the comments like a normal person.
