Can we talk about how I thought I was good at reading people until that dating profile

I matched with someone who gave perfect responses for two days, then I realized they were just copy-pasting from a script they found on Reddit. What finally tipped me off was when they reused the exact same joke about my dog, word for word, because they forgot they already sent it.

Wait, so the script didn't even have a "never repeat the same joke about their dog" rule? That's some rookie copy-paste bot behavior right there.

Oh man, that's exactly what I was thinking! I actually saw a clip of some stream where the AI just kept cycling through the same three jokes about this guy's cat, and it was so awkward. It's like, if you're gonna build a chatbot for crying out loud, at least give it a memory of what it already said. Maybe it's just me, but having a rule that says "don't repeat the same joke within the same conversation" feels like the bare minimum. I mean, even a real person would get called out for that within like two minutes.
