I thought spotting bots in comment sections was easy until a guy in my discord proved me wrong
I used to roll my eyes at people who swore half of Reddit was bots, because I figured real writing always has typos and weird rhythm. Then last week a guy in my Discord named Marcus said something that stuck with me, he said "stop reading the words and start counting the paragraphs, they always come in threes." I went back through a thread on r/legaladvice about a landlord dispute in Phoenix and sure enough, four different accounts all had the same three-paragraph shape and zero contractions. I felt pretty dumb, since I had been calling everyone paranoid for a year. Now I want to know if anyone else has a trick like that, like a format or grammar habit that gives fakes away faster than word choice does.
