My coworker bet me $20 that a commenter was a bot, and I lost

Last month my coworker Dana looked at a comment on our local news page and bet me $20 it was a bot because the reply was posted 3 seconds after the article and said the exact same thing twice. I swore up and down it was just a fast typer with a weird writing style, so I dug through the account history and found 400 comments all posted at 4:07 a.m. with the same sentence structure and zero typos. So where do you all draw the line between a bot and a real weirdo who just types like one?

How does a guy even find 400 comments all posted at 4:07 a.m.? That's not a weirdo, that's a rooster with a keyboard and a grudge. The real tip off is zero typos across all 400, because no human types the same sentence at 4 in the morning that many times without at least one fat finger moment. Honestly Dana earned that $20 just for having better instincts than you.
