Pro tip: check the reply timing before you call someone a bot

I used to just read what people said and decide if they sounded robotic. Then last month I got into a thread about local dog parks and this person kept answering every question with perfect grammar and zero slang. I was sure it was AI. Called them out and they replied in under 20 seconds saying they were a night shift nurse with insomnia. Turns out some people just type like that when they're bored. Now I look at how fast the responses come and if they ever slip up with small talk. Has anyone else been burned by a false bot call?
