A dating app bot told me her 'favorite spot' in Portland. It was a trap.
Some profile matched with me and kept saying 'I love Powell's Books' in every reply. Turned out the account was 2 days old with zero other details, and the photo was stolen from an Instagram model. Has anyone else gotten a bot that overuses one local landmark to seem real?

Give the bot a break, maybe it was just a shy person who liked Powell's and had a new account. Sure, the photo might be fake, but half the profiles on these apps are questionable anyway.
