Vent: That dating app bot that wasted 2 hours of my Sunday

I matched with this girl on Hinge Sunday night and she seemed normal at first, talked about hiking and her dog. But after 15 minutes every reply was like a generic motivational quote about 'living your best life.' Then she sent a link to some crypto site and I realized it was a bot. I reported it but Hinge never did anything. Has anyone else noticed these bots getting way more convincing lately?

Wait, Hinge actually does stuff about bots? I thought they just let them run wild. I had one that asked about my favorite crypto and then tried to get me to send money to some wallet.
