Hit 200 pressed flowers in my herbarium, didn't expect the emotional gut punch
Counting my collection for a new storage box, I realized each one reminds me of a specific trail or trip since 2021, and now I'm weirdly attached to this pile of dried weeds, has anyone else's milestone number suddenly felt heavier than the actual plant count?

Honestly, they're just dried plants at the end of the day. The weight is in your head, not the flowers, and that storage box won't care either way.

The weight is in your head" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there, but a box full of damp weed is still gonna be a problem no matter how Zen you are about it.
