The difference in my garden after switching to drip irrigation at a community plot in Portland
I had been hand watering my raised beds for two years and got tired of the daily 20 minute hose routine. Switched to a drip system last June and my tomato yield doubled by August with less water and zero leaf mold. Has anyone else seen that big a change just from changing how you deliver water?

Switched to drip last spring on my pepper beds and saw the same thing. The water goes right where it needs to instead of just wetting the whole soil surface. My squash stopped getting powdery mildew too once the leaves stayed dry. It's a game changer for sure.

The dry leaves thing is what sold me too, once I stopped getting water on the foliage my fungal problems pretty much vanished overnight. Your mileage may vary but for me that alone was worth the switch.

Took me way too many crispy, sad tomato plants to figure that out myself. Guess I'm a slow learner in the garden.
