Thought I was overwatering my monstera for 2 years

Turns out it was sitting in a pot with no drainage holes and I only caught it when I lifted the ceramic pot and saw standing water, anyone else miss something that obvious for way too long?

Thought I was overwatering" - yeah, poor drainage got me too. Switched to terracotta pots.
