Two ladies at the garden center changed my whole fern setup
I was at Lowe's last Tuesday grabbing mulch and overheard these two older women talking about how they never mist their ferns, they just set them on a tray of wet pebbles. I've been fighting brown tips on my Boston fern for like 2 months, so I grabbed a cheap plastic tray and some river stones for 8 bucks. Within 3 weeks the new fronds came in looking totally green and crisp. Has anyone else tried the pebble tray trick or do you swear by something else for humidity?
