Tried a trowel with a bigger handle and it actually helped my wrist pain
Been laying brick for about 12 years now and my right wrist has been killing me the last few months. I was using a standard Marshalltown with the skinny wooden handle. A older guy on a job site in Columbus let me borrow his with a fat rubber grip handle. Night and day difference after just one day. My hand didnt cramp up at 3pm and I actually finished my wall without ice packs. Has anyone else switched handle styles and noticed a big change?

Man, I feel you on that wrist pain, it's no joke switching to a bigger grip.

actually read this thing from a physio the other day about how going up in grip size can mess with your wrist if you don't ease into it, @hannah_west39. they said to try doing some light stretches before you play, it made a difference for me lol

Started doing those thumb stretches my PT showed me and it helped a lot with my grip changes... but then I got sidetracked reading about how different grips affect your serve and now I'm trying to figure out if I should switch to a semi western forehand grip too. It's like every time I fix one thing I find three more things wrong with my game... my wrist feels okay now though, just my elbow started acting up last week lol.
