My neighbor swore by buying day-old bread and I almost ignored him
This old guy named Frank who lives three doors down kept telling me to hit up the bakery outlet by the highway instead of the grocery store for bread. I figured he was just being cheap and that day-old bread would be stale and nasty. Last week I finally gave in because I was out of everything and broke until my next paycheck. Turns out that place sells loaves for 99 cents that were baked that morning, just overstock from the day before. I grabbed 4 loaves of sourdough and 2 bags of bagels for under 5 bucks and they all tasted fresh. Now I'm kicking myself for all the years I spent paying 4 dollars for a loaf at the big store. Has anyone else got a hidden spot like that in their town for super cheap bread?

3 years I was stuck in the same rut, @lucasw84. Frank's a game changer.

Trading that old mindset for something that actually works is like night and day. I switched up my whole routine after hearing Frank break it down in plain terms, no fluff. Small changes every day added up faster than I ever expected.
