Rant: My invoice template got a total glow up after a client laughed at my old one

Tbh, I sent out the same basic invoice for like 4 years. Last month a client in Austin actually replied with a screenshot of my PDF and added 'is this from 2003?' Ouch. So I spent a weekend rebuilding it in Excel with clear line items, payment terms, and a big DUE DATE box. Now my last 3 invoices got paid in under a week, instead of the usual 30 day chase. Has anyone else had a dumb formatting issue cost them time or money?
