TIL that $150 LLC filing service in Austin was actually worth it, and I'm still not sure how to feel
I filed my first LLC through a cheap online service two years back and figured the upsell was a scam, but after a contract dispute last summer I found out they'd included the registered agent and a decent operating agreement template at no extra cost. A lawyer in Dallas quoted me $900 just to look at the same paperwork. So one side says these services are a trap and you need a real attorney, the other says for a one-person shop it's fine. Where do you all land on this?
