DAE regret buying a $60 rice cooker that only makes 2 cups
Bought a tiny Zojirushi at a garage sale in Seattle for $60 two years back because the lady said it was the best thing she ever owned. I make rice maybe twice a week, and for 8 weeks straight I kept burning the bottom because the pot is too small for my family of four. Last Tuesday my wife said "just get the big one already" so I ordered a $130 10-cup model from Costco. The old one is now a plant pot on the porch. Anyone else got a small kitchen appliance that quietly became a dumb decoration?
