My uncle's $15 backup camera saved me $800
I was set to drop $800 on a custom rearview mirror with a screen at a shop near Cleveland. My uncle watched me stress about it and said, "try the clip-on one from Harbor Freight first, dummy." He was right, the $15 unit with a 4.3 inch screen does the job fine for my old truck. I park in a tight garage every night and the picture is crisp enough to avoid the dumpster bins. Has anyone else found a cheap fix that killed a big ticket purchase before you even made it?
