Paid $75 for a "rust-free" truck bed on Facebook and drove 3 hours to get it
Guy in Rockford sent me pics that looked clean so I rented a trailer and burned a whole Saturday on the trip. Got there and the bed was so rotten I could poke my finger through the side, but he acted like I was the weird one for walking away. What do you guys do when a seller switches up on pics, just eat the gas money or try to talk them down?

Drove 4 hours to Detroit last year for a "mint" tailgate and the thing had holes you could see daylight through. Sellers like that know you won't turn around after a long drive, that's the whole scam, so I just left and ate the gas money. Not worth fighting a guy who already lied to your face, just report the listing and move on.
