Read a whole thread on a coffee forum last week about people who bought machines at those closing sales and most of them said the same thing. Those BB&B deals looked amazing but a ton of the inventory was display units or returned stuff that had missing parts or busted pumps. One guy got a $900 Breville for $250 and it died in like three weeks, no warranty since the company was going under. Sounds like you dodged a headache honestly. Four hundred bucks still ain't nothing to just roll the dice on.
