Chewed up a dado stack because I got lazy with setup
Was rushing through a panel glue-up in my garage last Tuesday and didn't check the arbor nut torque. Now I'm out $85 for a new Freud set because the whole thing wobbled loose and tore the teeth off. Anyone else ever wreck a blade from being in a hurry?

Buddy that was operator error not a tool defect.

Think you might be taking this a little too seriously honestly. I mean, people make mistakes all the time, it's not like they posted a full tutorial on how to break it. Idk, seems like you're more frustrated with the person than with the actual tool. Maybe it's just me but a screwup with a new tool doesn't automatically mean the person is clueless. I'd probably just shrug and move on instead of calling them out like that.

honestly amyh12 i used to be the type who would get annoyed at people posting stuff like this too. i'd be like "come on it's common sense" but ngl seeing adam_baker's reply kinda changed my view. we all have those days where we're tired or rushing and do something dumb with a tool. yeah it's operator error but that doesn't mean the person should get roasted for it. mistakes happen and posting about it isn't the same as saying the tool is bad. i'm glad i saw this thread tbh it made me chill out a bit.
