Hit 500 cabinet doors made last month and it got me thinking
I've been building cabinets for about 8 years now. Last month I finished up a job for a new house in Columbus and realized I just passed 500 doors made in my shop. That number surprised me because I never really kept count before. I know some guys crank out way more with CNC but I'm still using a table saw and router table for most of it. What milestones have you guys hit that caught you off guard?

Wait, 500 doors by hand on a table saw and router? That's insane man, how are your fingers still attached? That many dadoes and raised panels with a router table sounds like a special kind of patience.

Hold up, 500 doors? How does a person even keep count after the first fifty without losing their mind? Running that many panels through a router table, you must have had the dado blade dialed in so tight it was basically part of your hand. And raised panels by hand, one at a time? That's the kind of patience that comes from pure stubbornness or a real fear of CNC machines. I'm surprised your fingers aren't just nubs by now, honestly.

Pretty sure he said dado stacked in the table saw, not the router. Table saw is the right tool for cutting grooves in 500 doors anyway, keeps things moving way faster. Router table would take forever on that many.
