My jig drawers went from chaos to color coded after one bad deadline

I used to just toss every jig and template into one deep drawer, no rhyme or reason. Then last March I lost a full day hunting for a 45 degree miter template while a client waited on a quote in Portland. I finally sat down with a sharpie and some leftover plywood scraps, built little dividers, and painted each section a different color. Now every pattern, stop block, and guide gets put back in its spot, takes me maybe 20 seconds instead of 40 minutes. Anyone else do something dumb simple like this that ended up being your best shop upgrade?
